After posting a few pictures of my latest papercrafting creations on Facebook, I decided it was time to take my love of papercrafting to the next level. I wanted a quick and easy way for my friends and family to view my paper projects. My sister calls me her 'muse'. Apparently I must inspire creativity whenever I'm around her. So Sher - here's your daily dose of creativity. I hope it inspires you to make something fun and wonderful!
I hope you all like the name.... I hate coming up with names for stuff. But I thought that it would be a unique tie between my namesake and my love of paper.
These are the Teacher's Gifts I made for Jakob and Caleb this year. Originally, I was only going to make the beaded lanyards. But then I needed a pretty little box. Step in Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates from the Papertrey Ink website. Well, once I had these little lunch-pails in mind, I HAD to fill them. I mean who wants a nearly empty box? So I picked up these notepads with pens from the $1 bin at Michael's, and covered the front. After I made the box I realized the cute doggy stamp was too big to fit on the front of the lunchbox. The notepad was a perfect and natural solution. While at the dollar bins, I noticed some post-it notes. Wouldn't those be handy for a teacher? So I threw those in (with a coordinating cover I made from Real Red cardstock). What gift would be complete without chocolate? There's a little bag of M&M's included. I had so much fun making these!
These are fantastic Robin! I love em! The little dog with the apple will be so fun for your boys to give and I love all of your coordianted goodies inside your lunch box. So glad you could join in on the My Time challenge this week and happy new blog! Have fun with it!!!

ReplyDeleteThis are amazing! I love the stamp you chose, and how you can only see part of the puppy peeking out holding the apple. These are very thoughtful gifts.
